What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between pages, such as a form you started or whether you have seen a notice. Some are set by us and some by services we use.

We use a small number of cookies. None of them are used to sell advertising or to follow you around other websites.

Cookies we always use

These are needed for the site to work, so they are on by default.

• Session: keeps a form you are filling in, such as the rent estimate or a repair request, from being lost if you change page. Deleted when you close the browser.
• Preferences: remembers your cookie choice and filters you set on the rentals page. Kept for 6 months.
• Security: helps us tell real visitors from automated traffic on forms. Kept for up to 24 hours.

Analytics cookies

With your permission we use an analytics service to count visits and see which pages are useful. It records the pages viewed, the type of device and browser and an approximate city. It does not record your name, your email or what you type into a form. These cookies are kept for up to 14 months.

Owner and tenant portal

If you sign in to the owner or tenant portal, a login cookie keeps you signed in on that device. It is removed when you sign out, or after 30 days without a visit.

Cookies from other services

• Maps and video: when a page shows a map or a video, the provider may set its own cookies once you press play or move the map.
• Payments: our payment provider sets cookies on its own pages to prevent fraud.

We do not control these cookies. Each provider explains them in its own policy.

How to turn cookies off

• Use the cookie notice on your first visit to refuse analytics cookies. You can change your mind at any time from the link in the footer.
• In your browser settings you can block or delete cookies for this site or for every site.
• If you block the cookies we always use, forms and the portal may not work properly.

Do Not Track

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics cookies.

Changes

If we add a cookie or change what one does, we update this page and the date at the top. For a change that matters we show the cookie notice again.
